About

Dog Mahal is the ultimate beach retreat for you and your pets. There is a queen size bed and a twin futon. There is a full kitchen and a full bathroom. You will enjoy a private beachfront patio, along with a dog run, waterproof dog house and a hose for washing off feet and paws. Dog Beach is right across the park. Shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Your parking is off the street directly in front of your unit.

Good to know

There is a private patio for your use. It has a barbecue gas grill and lots of comfortable seating. Propane is free. Your parking place right in front, off street. There is a washer and dryer available in the garage under the back building. We supply detergent.

Other Details to Note

The beach and the park are right in front. Please note that there is no smoking or alcohol allowed in the park or on the beach. You are free to do so in your own private patio. We do NOT allow pot smoking on property.

House rules

- Parking is back from the sidewalk in front of the unit. We own that patch of concrete. Please be aware that there will be people staying above you. I don't allow parties on site. It is fine to have a few friends over but not 30 or 40 of them. If you have a problem please contact me immediately through the air bnb site. Also we do not allow pot smoking on site. Please clean up after yourself that means do your dishes, vacuum and take out the trash. Your cleaning fee goes directly to our housekeeper.

Your private parking space is right in front of your gate back from the sidewalk. Do not park anywhere else on property unless you have specifically been told to do so by Kathleen There is a gas grill BBQ on you patio. We provide propane. We have beach chairs, strollers, and beach towels available.

An awesome location, so close to the dog beach. My pup and I spent many hours at the beach but also on the front patio just soaking up the sun and the cool OB vibe. I mentioned to Kathleen that there was no aluminum foil and she had some delivered within the hour. She is super attentive and always available. We will certainly be staying at her place on our next trip to San Diego.

Wonderful area across from the beach. Perfect spot for a couple and a couple of kids and a dog. Everything is walkable within 10 minutes, parking is usually always available and if not there's a secluded private parking spot right in front of the gate. Kathleen was super accommodating and friendly. We had an issue getting into the AirBnB with the code but after a quick phone call, it was all fixed. We definitely can't wait to visit again soon! My 15 month old daughter loved the open space! It gets a little loud if your outside after 10pm with the planes overhead and the bond fires on the beach at night but even then, once inside it all fades away. Great Stay!
